Baseball Recap: Brevard Comes Up Short

After flying high against Polk County on Tuesday, Brevard came back down to earth. The Blue Devils fell 11-8 to the West Henderson Falcons on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

Brevard's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for West Henderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Brevard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-5 victory against Polk County on the 12th. As for West Henderson, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Franklin on the 11th.
