Baseball Recap: King William Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

King William posted their closest win since June 4, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patrick Henry Patriots, sneaking past 3-2. That's two games straight that the Cavaliers have won by just one run.

King William's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Reid, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

King William's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Patrick Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
