Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Academy Cougars vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders

Chicago Academy is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will be playing at home against the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Chicago Academy beat Farragut 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Admirals: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt entered their tilt with Chicago Sullivan on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Roosevelt took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Chicago Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
