Kosciusko put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ethel Tigers a 16-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Whippets, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Kosciusko pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ethel, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kosciusko will take on Neshoba Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Kosciusko: 0.9, Neshoba Central: 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Ethel, they will square off against Lake at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
