Softball Game Preview: Willowbrook Warriors vs. Addison Trail Blazers

For the second straight game, Willowbrook will face off against Addison Trail. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Blazers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Willowbrook is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Willowbrook managed to slip by Addison Trail the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Blazers on Monday, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Willowbrook saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sonia Ruchala, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Addison Trail pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Willowbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
