Utopia piles up the points against Leakey

Recap: Utopia Buffaloes vs. Leakey Eagles
The Utopia Buffaloes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Leakey 63-36 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-16.
It was another big night for Taylor Wiekamp, who scored 26 points along with three steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jett Smothers, who scored 12 points along with five assists and four steals.
Utopia's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Leakey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Utopia will be home for the holidays to greet Comstock at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Leakey will take on D'Hanis in a holiday battle at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at. D'Hanis has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
