Foothill came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Dos Pueblos Chargers, posting a 63-31 win. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Chargers are ranked 544th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Foothill is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Dos Pueblos, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Foothill will take on Ventura in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dos Pueblos, they will take on University Prep in a tournament on December 26th. One thing working in University Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
