Volleyball Recap: Belleview Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Flatirons Academy, Belleview Christian was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their six-match losing streak.

While Belleview Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Union Colony Prep scored at least 22 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Belleview Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anessa Schanke, who hit 71.4% for ten kills and 25 digs and three aces. Schanke is on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 71.4% in the last four games she's played.

Schanke wasn't the only good servers: Belleview Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Belleview Christian's record is now 5-18. As for Union Colony Prep, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-13.

As of now, neither Belleview Christian nor the Timberwolves have any future games scheduled.
