Softball Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for Steele Canyon

Steele Canyon won the last time they faced West Hills and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Wolf Pack by a score of 6-3. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly three runs.

Belle Will spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Isabella Azevedo, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Hailey Trujillo was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Steele Canyon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-11-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for West Hills, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8-1.
