Trinity Turner's 19 second-half points give No. 18 Dr. Phillips its second straight Florida 7A title in come-from-behind fashion.

There are no second chances at this point in the high school girls basketball season. If the win-or-go-home pressure hasn't yet started, then it will this week.

California's state round begins this week. No. 1 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth) enters the CIF Open Division as favorites, but the Southern California regional also includes No. 5 La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla) and No. 10 Etiwanda, which lost to the Trailblazers in the Southern Section Open Division final. In Northern California, No. 21 Piedmont grabbed the top seed in the Open Division, while Central Section champion No. 12 Clovis West (Fresno) and Central Coast Section champion No. 15 Archbishop Mitty (San Jose) meet Saturday.

Texas enters its final four round and a red-hot DeSoto team joins the MaxPreps Top 25 for the second time this season.

New Jersey's three teams ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25 continue their postseason runs Wednesday, including a top 10 showdown between No. 7 St. John-Vianney (Holmdel) and No. 9 Paul VI (Haddonfield).

Florida wrapped up its postseason over the weekend and No. 18 Dr. Phillips (Orlando, Fla.) won a second straight 7A title behind a standout effort from junior Trinity Turner. She scored 19 of her game-high 22 in the second half as the Panthers erased an 11-point third quarter deficit to down Winter Haven 47-43.
