Volleyball Recap: Richlands Comes Up Short

Richlands lost against Jacksonville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Richlands ultimately came up short, they really made Jacksonville work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-9, 25-22.

Richlands' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Jacksonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Coming up, Richlands will head out on the road to take on Croatan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jacksonville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Bern at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
