Volleyball Recap: West Branch Has No Trouble Against Alliance

West Branch won the last time they faced Alliance and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Aviators with a sharp 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Branch was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-8.

Their offense was headlined by Abigail Janosik and Kendyll Kaley, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Aislyn Ring and her ten assists. Kaley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

West Branch now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Alliance, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, West Branch will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Carrollton at 6:00 p.m. As for Alliance, they will head out to square off against East at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
