Soccer Game Preview: Baldwin vs. Westside

The Baldwin Braves will head out on the road to square off against the Westside Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Baldwin came up short against Aquinas and fell 5-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, Westside was a bit more limited in their contest last Thursday. They came up short against Harlem, falling 10-1. The defeat continues a trend for Westside in their meetings with Harlem: they've now lost eight in a row.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Westside, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Baldwin took their win against Westside in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
