Football Game Recap: Canisteo-Greenwood vs. Dundee

Canisteo-Greenwood brought a five-game winning streak into their matchup against Dundee next week; they left with a six-game streak. Canisteo-Greenwood were able to grind out a solid win over Dundee on Friday, winning 20-8.

Among those leading the charge for Canisteo-Greenwood was senior John Davis, who rushed for 135 yards and 1 touchdown. If you haven't heard Davis's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past four games. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Curtis Quick, who racked up 11 tackles.

The victory bumped Canisteo-Greenwood's record up to 6-2. Dundee's loss makes it three in a row and drags their record down to 3-5. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
