West Perry's dynamic duo of Zach Smith and Chase May proved tough for Shippensburg to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Smith threw for 171 yards and one touchdown and May had 114 yards receiving. Keeghan Morrison helped West Perry's passing attack out by catching five balls for 29 yards.
The Mustangs' Smith and May have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 533 yards this season, while May, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 17 catches for 267 yards. Waynesboro's Johnnie Adgers leads the league in rushing yards with 405.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Northern York takes on Greencastle-Antrim. As it stands, the Polar Bears are in second, while Charles Tinninis's team is in fifth.
The Indians made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,904 from 8,268. The improvement was the result of 48-20 victory over James Buchanan last week.
