Basketball Recap: Marlette Takes a Loss

Marlette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Almont Raiders, falling 52-23. The Red Raiders lost against the Raiders in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-37 score last time.

Marlette's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Almont, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-11 record.

Marlette is taking a road trip to face off against Memphis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Almont, they will host Imlay City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
