Basketball Recap: Yreka's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Yreka lost against Del Norte back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Miners fell 51-45 to the Warriors. The loss put an end to the Miners' undefeated start to the season.

Del Norte can attribute much of their success to Rek-Woi Alameda, who posted 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Yreka fell to 2-1. As for Del Norte, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Yreka will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Phoenix at 7:30 p.m. As for Del Norte, they and Eureka will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
