Basketball Game Preview: Severance Silver Knights vs. Greeley Central Wildcats

The Severance Silver Knights will face off against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Severance came up short against Northridge and fell 44-35. The Silver Knights haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greeley Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Mountain View 59-21. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

The win got Greeley Central back to even at 11-11. As for Severance, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Severance was able to grind out a solid victory over Greeley Central when the teams last played back in January, winning 58-50. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Greeley Central's Madison Sepeda, who went 8-for-20 on her way to 23 points and three steals. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Severance still be able to contain Sepeda? There's only one way to find out.
