Football Recap: Richfield Tigers vs. Dietrich Blue Devils
Richfield lost against Dietrich back in September of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Richfield Tigers had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Dietrich Blue Devils. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost four in a row.
Richfield wouldn't let Dietrich keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. Iaancarlo Lopez led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself.
Richfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dietrich, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richfield will face off against Shoshone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shoshone will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Richfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dietrich, they will take on Hansen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dietrich will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
