Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manteo). They put the hurt on the Northeastern Eagles with a sharp 11-2 win on Tuesday. Kenzie Flynn was a massive factor in the win as she booted in five goals all by herself.

Manteo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those five contests. Northeastern has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Manteo will face off against First Colonial at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeastern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Albemarle School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
