Granada was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to third in East Bay. The Matadors beat Golden Valley 17-14 earlier in the week.

Granada and the Cougars played the closest game in the league this week, with Granada eventually emerging with a 17-14 victory.

Monte Vista's dynamic duo of Nikita Zamora and John Kaiser proved tough for Pittsburg to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Zamora threw for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns and Kaiser had 102 yards receiving. Erik Mensendiek helped Monte Vista's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 74 yards.

The Mustangs' dynamic duo of Zamora and Kaiser proved to be unstoppable against the Pirates, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Zamora put up the best numbers in passing as Monte Vista fell to Pittsburg.

Blake Bierwith was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 208 yards on 22 carries as California lost to Victor Galli's team. CJ Cornwell also contributed to the rushing game with 84 yards on the ground.

Kaiser was the best receiver in East Bay this week as Monte Vista fell to the Pirates.

He went 25-48 with 2 interceptions.

6-foot-2 quarterback Zamora of the Mustangs is the league leader in passing yards this season with 680. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cornwell. The California star has 14 catches for 233 yards.

Amador Valley took down Skyline 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
