Northmor came out on top against Lucas on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run sixth inning. The Golden Knights put the hurt on the Cubs with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Golden Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was Northmor's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Lucas, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northmor will head out to square off against Cardington-Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lucas, they will venture away from home to challenge East Knox at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
