Soccer Game Preview: Loris vs. South Columbus

The Loris Lions will face off against the South Columbus Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Loris will be strutting in after a victory while South Columbus will be coming in after a loss.

South Columbus better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Loris' game on Monday is any indication, that's when Loris really gets things going. The Lions blew past Green Sea Floyds 4-1.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for South Columbus' offense. They came up short against Heide Trask on Thursday, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for South Columbus in their meetings with Heide Trask: they've now lost four in a row.

Loris' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for South Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

Loris beat South Columbus by a goal when the teams last played back in March, winning 2-1. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
