Volleyball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against La Vega on Tuesday, Robinson came back down to earth. The Rockets came up short against the Lorena Leopards on Friday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rockets have suffered against the Leopards since August 23, 2022.

Robinson was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lorena work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-15.

Robinson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-16 record this season. As for Lorena, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 28-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Robinson will challenge rival China Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lorena is set to square off against their familiar foe La Vega at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
