Ayala entered their tilt with Diamond Bar on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Brahmas 11-1. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Jaden Valenzuela made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of Ayala's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 5-6 when he doesn't).

In other pitching news, Jayden Kim looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, Ayala let Codey Brown and Dylan Wood run wild. Brown scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Wood scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave Wood a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Boyd, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5.

Ayala was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Diamond Bar only posted a batting average of .045.

Ayala's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Diamond Bar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ayala will welcome Ocean View at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Diamond Bar, they will host Duarte at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
