Hamburg was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in Section 6 A - South. The Bulldogs vanquished Lake Shore 35-14 earlier in the week.

Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech moved up to 465 from 545 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech was able to move up by falling to Alden 29-22.

Tosh Johnson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Hamburg beat the Eagles. The 5-foot-9 junior recorded 2 fumbles.

Mark Myles provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Pat Cauley's team bested Lake Shore. Myles' key target this week was Bryce Hite, who caught 2 passes for 31 yards.

Jeff Yax was the best wideout in the league this week as Iroquois fell to West Seneca East. Yax tallied 2 receptions for 55 yards. Nick Wilkinson helped Iroquois' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 46 yards.

Myles was the most successful running back in Section 6 A - South this week. He ran for 203 yards on 21 carries as the Bulldogs fell to the Trojans. Alec Seifer also contributed to the rushing game with 67 yards on the ground.

Parker Addison put up the best numbers through the air as Drew Takacs' team fell to Hamburg. He had a total of 5 completions for 68 yards. Addison's favorite target this week was Phil Wigdor, who caught 2 passes for 16 yards.

Iroquois' 6-foot-1 quarterback Josh Piesczynski is the league leader in passing yards this season with 279. The leading receiver in the league this season is Corey Fiutko. The Lake Shore star has 5 catches for 136 yards.

The Bulldogs' offense has racked up 47 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while West Seneca East has allowed only 22 on the year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Hamburg takes on Jim Maurino's team. As it stands, the Bulldogs are in fourth, while the Trojans are in first.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hamburg takes on West Seneca East. The Bulldogs have allowed 45 points this season, while the Trojans have given up 22. Hamburg allowed 14 points last week as it defeated the Eagles.

Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,018 from 13,232. The improvement came about via a 29-22 victory over Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech last week.
