Basketball Preview: North Michigan Christian Academy Comets vs. Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen

The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets will head out on the road to take on the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen at 7:00 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: North Michigan Christian Academy has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while the Swordsmen will arrive with 11 straight victories.
Last Friday, North Michigan Christian Academy was beaten by the Lancers 75-32. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Michigan Christian Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Harbor Light Christian can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 70-34 win over Boyne Falls on the road. Given Harbor Light Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Loggers are ranked 730th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
North Michigan Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Harbor Light Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
North Michigan Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 86-61 loss they got from the Swordsmen in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can North Michigan Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
