Softball Recap: Murray Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Murray's offense. They came up short against the Christian County Colonels on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Murray's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Christian County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-17.

Looking ahead, Murray will be playing at home against Dawson Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian County, they will venture away from home to square off against Caldwell County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Colonels' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
