Spring Valley dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Boyceville Bulldogs. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Boyceville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average this season.

It was another big night for Carson Roemhild, who threw for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Landyn Leslie was Roemhild's top target, picking up 27 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
