Basketball Recap: Green Bay West Gets the Win

Green Bay West won against Shawano Community last Friday with 79 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Green Bay West Wildcats managed a 79-75 victory over the Menominee Maroons. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win made it two in a row for Green Bay West and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Menominee, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Green Bay West won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gladstone at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Menominee, they and Marinette will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Menominee is facing Marinette at the right time seeing as Marinette is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
