Basketball Recap: Tayton Strange's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Penn-Mansfield over Warrior Run

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Penn-Mansfield can now relate to. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warrior Run Defenders on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th in Pennsylvania, while the Defenders are ranked 90th in Pennsylvania).

North Penn-Mansfield's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tayton Strange, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Andy Hermansen, who had nine points.

North Penn-Mansfield's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Warrior Run, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-5.

As of now, neither North Penn-Mansfield nor Warrior Run have any future games scheduled.
