Soccer Recap: Jesuit Picks Up 17th Straight Win at Home

It's playoff time, and Jesuit had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Osceola Warriors on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Brock Edelman and Evan Yockey scored both of Jesuit's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Jesuit's win was their 17th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 91 goals over those 17 matchups. As for Osceola, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jesuit duke it out with the Pembroke Pines Charter at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Pembroke Pines Charter will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Jesuit surely won't give up without a fight. Osceola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
