Basketball Game Preview: Walhalla Razorbacks vs. Seneca Bobcats

The Walhalla Razorbacks and the Seneca Bobcats will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walhalla is looking for their season's first win.

On Tuesday, Walhalla came up short against Tallulah Falls and fell 62-51. While losing is never fun, the Razorbacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 245th in South Carolina, while the Indians are ranked 116th in Georgia).

Meanwhile, Seneca was able to grind out a solid victory over Wren on Thursday, taking the game 81-68. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Seneca, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Walhalla couldn't quite get it done against Seneca when the teams last played back in December of 2024 as they fell 70-61. Can the Razorbacks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
