York gave up the first runs on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the Broome Centurions 6-4. The win was just business as usual for the Cougars, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

York's victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landon Ayers, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Jaxon Moore was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

York's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Broome, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Coming up, York will head out on the road to square off against Gaffney at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Broome, they will welcome Blacksburg at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
