Baseball Recap: Normal West Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Normal West put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Limestone Rockets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Chase Knuth was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Knuth is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Drew Hart, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Normal West's record now sits at 3-0. As for Limestone, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Normal West will face off against Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Limestone, they will head out to take on Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
