Volleyball Game Preview: Masterman vs. Northeast Vikings

Masterman is 0-5 against Northeast since March of 2022 but things could change on Friday. Masterman is taking a road trip to challenge Northeast at 3:15 p.m.

On Tuesday, Masterman didn't have quite enough to beat Thomas A. Edison and fell 3-2. Masterman has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Northeast made easy work of George Washington two weeks ago and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Northeast walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-20.

Northeast's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Masterman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Masterman came up short against Northeast when the teams last played back in March, falling 3-1. Can Masterman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
