Softball Game Preview: Henley Hornets vs. Junction City Tigers

The Henley Hornets will challenge the Junction City Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Henley barely beat Lakeview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets blew past the Honkers 22-9 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Meanwhile, Junction City never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Creswell as they made off with a 14-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Henley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games. As for Junction City, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
