Volleyball Recap: Manning Comes Up Short

Manning lost against Sumter two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Monarchs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gamecocks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-9, 22-25, 25-23.

Manning's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sumter, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Manning didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Wilson on the 1st. As for Sumter, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against South Florence on the 30th.
