Triad won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since October 31, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Triad who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 21-25, 25-22.

Allison Adomite paced Triad's offense, picking up 11 kills. Adomite got some help from Heidi Boehning and her 16 assists. Averie Litteken controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Triad now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Highland, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 10-2 record.

Triad has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Waterloo on the 20th. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against MacArthur on the 20th.
