Softball Recap: Sylvania Comes Up Short

Sylvania came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Arab Knights, falling 17-7.

Katlyn Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Sylvania has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Arab, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6-1 record.

Looking ahead, Sylvania will be taking part in a tournament against Sand Rock at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Arab, they will take on West End in a tournament on Saturday.
