Soccer Game Preview: Grossmont vs. Valley Center

The Grossmont Foothillers will challenge the Valley Center Jaguars at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Grossmont is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against San Diego on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavers.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Valley Center challenged Escondido Charter on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Jaguars have been dealt a draw since back in November.

Valley Center's draw gives them a new season record of 0-0-2. As for Grossmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
