With a playoff win on the line, Harrison Central rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Barnesville Shamrocks. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Harrison Central's record is now 20-9-1. As for Barnesville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 22-8 record.

Coming up, Harrison Central will square off against Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Barnesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
