Recap: Gulf Breeze Dolphins vs. Crestview Bulldogs
The Gulf Breeze Dolphins extended their postseason success on Thursday against the Crestview Bulldogs. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs and snuck past 55-52. The victory was nothing new for Gulf Breeze as they're now sitting on three straight.
Gulf Breeze was led to victory by Trent Peak and Hutson Rowe. Peak scored 19 points, while Rowe scored 27 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rowe has scored all season. Michael Bailey was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Gulf Breeze used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Crestview. And. Bailey made the most of the opportunity, scoring four points. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Gulf Breeze's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.
Gulf Breeze didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-35 loss vs. Milton on the 10th. Crestview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
