Softball Recap: Station Camp Triumphs

Station Camp got themselves on the board against Gallatin on Thursday, but Gallatin never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Green Wave. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Presley Kouba, who gave up just two hits to keep Gallatin off the board.

On the hitting side, Station Camp's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cali Boyette, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Boyette wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Station Camp kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

The victory got Station Camp back to even at 6-6. As for Gallatin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Station Camp will venture away from home to challenge East Robertson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games East Robertson has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Gallatin, they will head out on the road to face off against Trousdale County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
