Elijah Ayala produced his most outstanding game to date while leading San Juan Hills to the win on Friday. Ayala rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

The victory (which was San Juan Hills' third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Ayala and San Juan Hills will square off against Yorba Linda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brady Annett Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Sadly, Brady Annett posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Corona del Mar over San Juan Hills on Friday. Annett rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 162 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Corona del Mar has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Annett and Corona del Mar will head out to challenge Newport Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
