Baseball Recap: Valley Christian Triumphs

While Valley Christian's win against Wilcox wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Valley Christian Warriors skirted past the Wilcox Chargers 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won five in a row.

Valley Christian got a great performance from Kole Laubach as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Laubach has posted since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Colton Hadfield, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Valley Christian's record is now 4-0. As for Wilcox, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Archbishop Mitty on the 8th. As for Wilcox, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Monterey on the 8th.
