Rock Port extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping them up to 9-0. Everything went their way against the Mound City Panthers as they made off with a 36-14 victory. With the Blue Jays ahead 30-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Brock Holmes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 235 yards and three TDs. Holmes is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Rock Port's run defense was locked in: Mound City could only muster 1.2 yards per carry. While one picked up at least six total tackles, Holmes stood above the rest. He rushed for 235 yards and three touchdowns. Rock Port didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.3.

As for Mound City, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Mound City took the loss, they still got scores from Liam Derr and Grady Knapp.

As of now, neither Rock Port nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
