Baseball Recap: Stoughton Comes Up Short

Stoughton blew Edgerton out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Edgerton got their revenge. The Vikings fell just short of the Crimson Tide by a score of 5-3. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crimson Tide earlier this season, when they won 20-9.

Oliver Pietruszynski was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Givon Storkson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Stoughton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16. As for Edgerton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

As of now, neither Stoughton nor the Crimson Tide have any future games scheduled.
