Softball Recap: Perspectives Leadership/Technology Comes Up Short

Perspectives Leadership/Technology dropped their record down to 5-4 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They lost 27-15 to the Simeon Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-26 on Tuesday.

As for Simeon, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.2 runs.

For Simeon's part, they got a massive performance out of Mia Holcombe, who fired off two home runs, nine stolen bases, and seven RBI while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave Holcombe a new career-high. Ariyah Black was another key player, going 3-for-4 with 13 stolen bases, seven RBI, and four runs.

Coincidentally, Perspectives Leadership/Technology and Simeon will both be playing Richards the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolverines will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
