Soccer Game Preview: Central Valley vs. Davis Sr.

The Central Valley Hawks will square off against the Davis Sr. Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Central Valley comes in on five and Davis Sr. on six.

Central Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Inderkum get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's two games straight that the Hawks have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Davis Sr. got the win against Sheldon on Friday by a conclusive 5-2. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Sheldon with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nathan King (2), Subhan Rahimi, Cruz Gonzalez, and Joshua Morris.

Davis Sr.'s victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Central Valley, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

Central Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Davis Sr. when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Central Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
